Privacy policy

Tenon helps renters find apartments through an AI assistant and request viewings. This page explains what we collect when you request a viewing, who sees it, where it is stored and how to ask us about it. Questions, access requests and deletion requests go to privacy@iromori.com.

What we collect

Searching listings collects nothing about you. When your assistant requests a viewing, it sends the details you gave it: your name, email address, phone number, how many people will live in the unit, any pets, your move-in date, your budget if you gave one, up to three preferred viewing times, and a short note about your work, rental history and why the unit fits. You never need to share your age, family status, religion, ethnicity or any other personal characteristic, and we do not ask for them.

Who sees it, and when

Nothing is shared with a building until you open the confirmation link we email you and press "Confirm and share". That page lists exactly what will be shared and with which building. Pressing the button records your consent and sends the details to that building's rental operator. We do not sell your information or use it to profile you, and no automated model makes decisions about you.

How long we keep it

A request you never confirm is deleted when its confirmation link expires, 48 hours after you made it. A confirmed request is deleted 180 days after it was created. A nightly job enforces both.

Where it is stored

Your information is stored and processed in the United States, by our hosting, database and email providers. By confirming a request you consent to this under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by writing to the address above. We will reply within 30 days.
